About
The Porsche 924 is a sports car produced by the German manufacturer Porsche from 1976 to 1988. It was the first Porsche model to be powered by a front-mounted, water-cooled engine, and was designed as a more affordable alternative to the 911. Despite initial criticism, the 924 proved to be a successful model for Porsche, with over 150,000 units produced during its production run. It was eventually replaced by the 944 in 1982.
