About
The Renault Fuego is a sports coupe manufactured by the French automaker Renault from 1980 to 1986. It was designed by Robert Opron and marketed as a more luxurious and sporty alternative to the Renault 18 sedan. The Fuego was available with a range of engines, including four-cylinder petrol and diesel options, as well as a turbocharged version. It was also one of the first cars to feature electronic instrumentation and a digital dashboard. Despite its unique design and advanced features, the Fuego was not a commercial success and was eventually replaced by the Renault 21.
